Just be clear how it works and what i think is the problem you are experiencing (but i might be wrong) Yes it should work, i will redo a little test on my end later tonight. I would really like to see and learn if there are other/better options. Is there a logical way around limiting traffic that comes anywhere closer to reality that what I have described above. Just delete the surplus traffic once and keep flying with the traffic that remains without all traffic of the flightplans being respawned. Run a limiter that deletes traffic set on criteria much like AI companion allows me to set but once that is done I don't want AIG to respawn all the traffic I just deleted. Good traffic limiting options, more than with FSUIPC but if I set it to run every 5 seconds I get the same result as described above.ģ) Using the P3D traffic slider: no effect at all, no matter the setting so clearly not an option.īasically what I want is limiting traffic statically. I REALLLY don't like that because that is far from realisticĢ) Using the AI companion tool. The result of this is that A/C are continiuously popping up and vanishing all around me. What I mean is that the surplus of traffic is deleted, then AIG regenerates the traffic and FSUIPC immediately deletes traffic to meet the set criterium. What I like about this is that it really strives to maintain the max number of aircraft that I have set into the tool. I'll explain why:ġ) using the ai traffic limited built into FSUICP. I have investigated several options to do this and I don't like both. It takes kind of a hit in my performance and I want to be able to limit the traffic so that I stay above let's say 30 fps. I fly a lot to some of the bigger airports in mostly the US and Europe (KDEN, EHAM) and I have loads, but really loads of traffic (all airlines have been installed). It took me more than a day to get it running but it works like a charm.
I jumped into the deep and went ahead with installing the AIG OCI software and ancillaries to get a much needed upgrade of my AI traffic. Several weeks ago I took the time to remove UTlive and FLAI from my system as it was awfully outdated and far from complete.
